At Westgate Dental Centre, they care about youth, which is why they run a Youth Scheme.
Government-funded dental care ends for students at age 18 and Westgate Dental Centre understands that the period of time between leaving college and starting a working career can be challenging financially for young people.
The Youth Scheme is open for students who are registered at the clinic in 2019/2020. Once they are registered, they will need to attend the clinic annually for their government-funded dental care until they turn 18 years old.
When they are not eligible for government-funded dental care anymore, Westgate Dental Centre will provide a 15% discount on check-ups and dental services until their 21st birthday! This includes non-laboratory services such as annual check-ups, cleans and fillings.
The purpose of this scheme is to encourage regular annual check-ups and give young people in our community a hand with managing dental costs. The clinic has a focus on prevention and education for better lifelong dental health.
