Where can I purchase a Gift Card?
Gift Cards are available at each of the NZRPG Shopping Centres and valid across all four centres. They can be purchased at the following Gift Card agents:
Westgate – Westgate Pharmacy
Milford – Management Kiosk
Highbury – Temptations Lotto
Fraser Cove – Dollar Value
Gift Cards are branded as the centre at which they are purchased but can be used across all four Centres.
Which stores can I use the Gift Card in?
NZRPG Gift Cards are accepted at most retailers at the Centres. To check if a store you wish to make a purchase from accepts Gift Cards please visit our Store Finders on each Centre’s website. Those which participate in the Gift Card scheme are marked with an * on their Store listing or you can check in store before making your purchase.
What value can I load onto a Gift Card?
You can put any value between $20 – $1000 on your Gift Card.
Does a Gift Card expire?
Yes. Expiration is 12 months from the date of purchase.
Does the Gift Card come with a card?
Yes. There is a card holder issued with the Gift Card where you can write your message to the recipient of the Gift Card
How can I pay for a Gift Card?
If you are purchasing in the Centre, you can pay by cash, EFTPOS or any major credit card.
Can I purchase a Gift Card on-line?
Yes. You will need a major credit to purchase on-line. Please visit www.giftstation.co.nz
All cards are sent via Courier (Post Haste) at a charge of $5.50 delivery to major cities and $5.50 to rural addresses. These are signature required deliveries. PO Box addresses are not accepted and there is to be one recipient per Gift Card. Delivery time is within 5 working days.
Can I add more money onto my Gift Card?
No. Gift Cards can only be loaded once. You would need to purchase an additional card should you wish to add money.
Can I get my money refunded or exchanged for cash?
No. Gift Cards should be treated as cash. They are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Can I buy something that costs more or less than the value on my Gift Card?
You can make as many purchases at any participating stores with the Gift Card until the value of the Gift Card is spent or the Gift Card expires, whichever occurs first.
If your desired purchases exceed the value on the card, you can pay the balance in another method.
Stores redeeming the Gift Card have the right to exercise their store policies, procedures and terms and conditions.
Can I use more than one Gift Card in a purchase?
This is at the discretion of the store at which you want to make purchases with your Gift Card. Please check with the store if you would like to do this.
How do I check my Gift Card’s remaining balance or expiration date on the card?
You can check these on-line (www.giftcard.nzrpg.co.nz) or at the listed stores at each Centre where Gift Cards are sold. Individual stores are unable to check your balance.
Can I check the transaction history of my Gift Card?
Yes you can. Please visit the Gift Card agent at your nearest NZRPG Shopping Centre.
What happens if my Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Lost, stolen or damaged cards can be replaced subject to the NZRPG Gift Card terms and conditions. You should report this immediately to NZRPG on (09) 486-1559, who will take all reasonable steps to the cancel the card. There is a charge of $5 to replace a Gift Card which is deducted from the balance and the replacement card may take up to 10 days to replace. It can be sent out to you or you can pick it up from the Centre at the Gift Card agent.
You will need to:
1. Retain your original receipt.
2. Provide your Gift Card Number.
3. Confirm date and location of payment.
4. State the original value and current balance.
Where can I find the PIN and Gift Card number?
You will find both of these numbers on the back of your Gift Card above the magnetic strip. Your PIN number is on the right under the scratch panel. Your Gift Card Number is on the left.
1.1 By purchasing and/or redeeming an NZRPG Gift Card, you accept and must adhere to the following terms and conditions. Terms and conditions are subject to change. Current terms and conditions will be communicated on the NZRPG website page and are effective from the date they are posted.
1.2 NZRPG reserves the right to cancel any Gift Card or Gift Card programme without notice on the proviso that refunds or replacement of alternative programmes are offered to the holder when Gift Card is presented to NZRPG.
1.3 Gift Cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
1.4 Treat your Gift Card as cash. Keep your Gift Card secure and do not tamper, deface or alter the magnetic strip as this will void your Gift Card.
1.5 If your Gift Card is lost or stolen, you should report this immediately to NZRPG on (09) 486-1559, who will take all reasonable steps to the cancel the card. There is a charge of $5 to replace a Gift Card which is deducted from the balance and the replacement card may take up to 10 days to replace. It can be sent out to you and the value activated once you receive it, or you can pick it up from the Gift Card agent at any NZRPG Centre.
1.6 Lost, stolen or damaged cards can be replaced. You will need to:
1. Retain your original receipt
2. Provide your Serial Number and Bar Code on the back of your Gift Card.
3. Confirm date and location of payment
4. State the original value and current balance.
1.7 Do not tamper or deface the Gift Card. If the magnetic strip or barcode is damaged, your Gift Card will be voided.
1.8 Gift Cards can be purchased with any amount between $20 and $1000. Expiration of this value is 12months from initial loading date. Any balance unused after the expiry date will be invalid and forfeited entirely. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded. Additional credit cannot be loaded onto a Gift Card. A new Gift Card must be purchased.
1.9 Gift Cards are redeemable for goods or services available at any participating retailers at NZRPG Shopping Centres – namely Westgate, Milford, Highbury and Fraser Cove. (For a list of participating retailers please visit www.nzrpg.co.nz/giftcards )
1.10 To check the balance and expiry date of your Gift Card, please visit www.giftcard.nzrpg.co.nz
1.11 All purchases made using the Gift Card are subject to the redeeming store’s policies, obligations and terms and conditions, including refunds, credits and quality controls on purchases adhering to their obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Any concerns regarding errors in transactions must be directed to the store where the Gift Card was redeemed.
1.12 When retailer’s point of sale system is unavailable, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed. NZRPG is not liable for any loss or damage caused by such circumstances.
1.14 Where you have supplied your email address, NZRPG will authorise the Shopping Centre at which you have purchased your Gift Card to add you to their mailing list to receive regular Centre Newsletters. You may unsubscribe from this after receiving your first newsletter.
